Aaron is a third-generation fisherman that grew up on the water. He started at an early age tendering and trolling in the summer with his parents. At 13 is when he started long-lining with his dad. All of his Alaskan family members either are or have been involved in the fishing industry, mostly long-lining for black cod and halibut

Q: Which products do you sell to Sea to Shore Seafood?
A: Halibut
Q: What sustainable fishing practices/ gear types do you use? What is your crew size for these fisheries?
A: Longline with snaps. Two total crew, including me.
Q: What do you love most about life on the water?
A: Mostly the hard work and the accomplishment you feel when you have a good trip or a good set.
Q: What is your favorite type of fish to catch or favorite method of fishing and why?
A: Halibut. They’re fun to catch.
Q: What is your favorite fish or seafood to eat and why?
A: Halibut because you can do so much with it, cook it anyway, season it anyway, it’s always delicious.
